How do I purchase tickets or make a reservation for a specific show?
You can pre-purchase tickets online. If you are having issues, call our box office at 314.727.1260

What are your showtimes?
Showtimes are:
8:00PM Wednesdays & Thursdays,
7:30 & 10:00PM Fridays & Saturdays,
7:30PM Sundays.

Are there any age restrictions?
We are an 18+ venue.

What does it mean when a show is a “Special Event?”
Shows that are labeled “Special Event” have restrictions to purchasing tickets. Discounts and promotions are not accepted.

What is the difference between Reserved and General Admission seating?
Reserved tickets (Available Online Only) are seats that we save for you in the Showroom. Patrons who purchase Reserved seats will be given the best available seats for the size of their party. These tickets can only be pre-purchased online. General Admission seats are available on a first-come, first-sat basis. The earlier you arrive, the better your seating will be. General Admission seats may be pre-purchased online or you may make a reservation over the phone (SHOW PERMITTING). It is recommended that customers pick up their tickets at least 30 - 45 minutes prior to showtime to ensure their party can be sat together. If you are running late, please contact the club so we can arrange to hold your seats.

Does Helium accept credit cards?
We accept VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, and debit cards. No personal checks accepted.

What is the refund policy?
All sales are final. There are absolutely no refunds or exchanges.

How do I redeem my gift certificate?
Gift certificates can be applied to tickets, comedy classes and food & beverage. To purchase tickets using your gift certificate, call our box office at 314.727.1260. Be sure to bring your gift certificate to the box office on the night of the show to redeem your tickets.

Is there a drink minimum?
Instead of a drink minimum, we have a two-item per person minimum in the Showroom (e.g. 1 soda and 1 appetizer) which gives our patrons an opportunity to enjoy the food Helium has to offer. Beverages or food items MUST be purchased in the Showroom to count toward the two-item minimum. Customers dining in Elements will have their 2 item minimum waived during the show.

Should I research the comedian before attending a show?
Yes. Comedy is subjective and certain comedians are not for everybody. Watching a YouTube clip or reading the headliner's biography is a great way to get insight on the expected performance.

Is there a dress code?
Nice, casual attire.

How long do the shows typically last?
Shows are usually between an hour and a half and an hour and forty-five minutes.

What is the Showroom like? How does seating work?
The Showroom arrangement is similar to a cabaret theater – chairs surrounding tables, facing the stage. With friendly and discreet table service, we ensure you won’t miss any of the action. Customers who have boosted their ticket purchase generally receive seating closer to the front of the house (depending on party size). General Admission seating is on a first-come-first-serve basis (arriving closer to showtime increases the chances of your party being seated at a table with another group).

How does your new A,B,C seating policy work to relieve lines prior to showtime?

As we've learned over the last decade customers are very excited to get their seats, and sometimes this excitement can create very long lines and confusion. In order to relieve this bottleneck, our staff will begin to add letters to customer tickets. Once you've received your tickets you may go downstairs and enjoy our restaurant, bars and or garage lounge until your letter is called.

Why should I Boost my purchase?
Boosting your purchase allows you to have a worry-free experience. If something pops up that prevents you from attending the show, Helium can provide you with a Seat Engine venue credit to purchase tickets in the future. Other benefits of Helium Boost include guaranteeing your party will be seated together, and that you have a table(s) held for you in the showroom to alleviate the need to stand in line prior to the show.

Does Helium offer group discounts?
We do not offer any discounts on tickets. But for large groups, inquire about our Event Packages so we can offer you other ways to save!

Can Helium be rented out?
Yes. Helium has a wide variety of options when it comes to events. Full room rental, private shows, office parties and any gathering or get-together can be arranged with food and beverage packages. Simply call the club and ask for the Director of Group & Special Events or contact us here.

Where can I park near the club?
Limited parking is available outside the entrance of Helium by the Clayton Rd. entrance to the mall. Additional parking is available on the east side of the building near Dillard’s, Weber Grill and JoS. A. Bank as well as on the parking ramp.

Is your club smoke-free?

Does Helium Comedy Club have an “Open Mic” night?
Helium has Open Mic Night most Wednesdays starting at 8:00PM. Sign-ups are in person as well as online. Due to time restraints and the number of comedians signing up each week, we cannot guarantee stage time. For more information, please read our rules here.

Are cameras allowed in the club?
Patrons may take photographs BEFORE or AFTER the show. Taking photographs, filming, videotaping or other recording of shows without the written consent of the club and the artist is strictly prohibited. Patrons who abuse this policy will have all content erased and you will be ejected immediately.

Do you do anything special for birthdays?
Complimentary birthday tickets can be redeemed for any Helium Presents shows on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Large parties can contact our Director of Group & Special Events to make the perfect accommodations.
